The Barony Medical Centre is pleased to be resuming as a Training Practice and to have new GP trainees from early 2025. These trainees will be a valuable part of our team. GP trainees are qualified doctors who have already worked in hospitals for at least 2 years and have decided to train to be General Practitioners.

This practice has found the experience of educating GP trainees both stimulating and rewarding for all involved in the process and this is something we are excited to restart.

From time to time our GP trainees are required to video consultations to facilitate analysis and learning. If we wish a consultation to be recorded, we will seek patient consent for this prior to the appointment and there is no pressure to agree to this.
