If you are on regular medication and eligible for repeat prescriptions you can order in a number of ways:
Please note that for regular repeat medication the practice requires 48 hours to have these ready for you. That is two full working days and does not include the weekend when we are closed.
Any other requests, i.e. not routine repeats listed on your prescription re-order form, will usually take longer than 48 hours to process.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Pharmacy services are taking a "crucial role" We have access to a pharmacist or a pharmacy technician with advanced clinical skills. The pharmacy team provides the focus, resources and tools to support safer use of medicines. They help with the monitoring of high risk medication, and management of prescription requests. They review discharge letters and outpatient clinic letters from the hospital, amending patients' notes and medication. They undertake clinical medication reviews whilst supporting and advising patients with chronic disease management issues. Our Pharmacists may contact you to discuss and advise in your medication
